Mark is a circus artist who specializes in hand balancing and aerial hoop / Lyra. He started his practice of the circus arts 5 years ago with Master Lu-Yi. Shortly after, Mark made his way to San Diego in order to focus on his Handbalancing practice with Jean-Luc Martin at the San Diego Circus Center. He has practiced a variety of circus arts, including aerial straps, Chinese pole, Hand to Hand, Ja, and Dance.
Mark started out his professional career at Sea World’s “Cirque Electrique” after his first year training at the Circus Center. Near the end of his second year of studies he received a contract from the traveling show “Cavalia Odysseo” where he would hone his skills on the aerial hoop. After his final year at the San Diego Circus Center Mark spent his summer traveling throughout Europe on his first major hand balancing contract with ShortRound Productions’ “Filament the Show”. Directly preceding the completion of his work in Europe, Mark landed his dream job performing aerial hoop at the Bellagio in Las Vegas with “O” by Cirque du Soleil.
